Fira’s belly makes the decision for her. Suddenly, the group of humans (first man: Nate, second man: James, woman with torch: Julie, other woman: Jessica) hear a loud rumbling that is amplified by echoing off the walls. “Earthquake!” squeals Jessica.
“Grab what you can!” shouts Nate though the others are wondering if they should just run.
A moment later, Fira has jumped from atop the treasure pile and landed between the group and the exit.
“Monster!” shouts James.
“Monstrous earthquake!” squeaks Jessica.
“My GOD, look at that body!” says Julie adjusting the position of her torch to cast better light on Fira.
“See what happens to thieves,” booms Fira. “This is MY treasure!” She reaches down and grabs Nate, forcing him to drop all the gold he had picked up. As she raises him up, Nate hits her hand with the torch, but instead of hurting her, it actually feels good. Opening her mouth wide, she throws Nate inside, map and torch still in hand. A gulp later, and Nate had disappeared down Fira’s throat and into her massive belly. The meal is very satisfying for Fira and she lets out a loud burp to let everyone know. With that out of the way, she looks forward to getting to know everyone else.
James, Julie and Jessica watched helplessly as not only their friend, but the map that would show them the way out was eaten. They have two options: wait to talk to Fira or flee into the labyrinth without a map.
