Chapter #5

Awakening

    by: Unknown
I made up my mind, and rushed for the large door, although I kept looking at the large rabbit wondering if she was going to notice me, but she seem too tried because she closed her eyes and sighed as she lean a little farther in the chair. I made it to the door, and walked out into a giant hallway, and realized that my original thought about this place was true, I saw giant creatures walking around, all of them like the rabbit walking on two legs, and dressed in clothes of different styles. I pressed myself against the wall as I watch these huge creatures that luckily seem unconcern about the tiny human that had enter their world.

“Where am I?” I said feeling my sense of reality breaking down as I slowly made my down the hall, although now wondering what I was going to do now, but my heart suddenly leapt as a voice suddenly boomed over the giant hall’s intercom, “attention all hospital staff, be on the lookout of a outsider human that had escape from the dimensional ward, he will be scared and confused, once found please bring him to the front desk of the ward, thank you,” almost instantly I could see creature turning their eyes downward toward the floor as they began to search for me.

Panic filled me as I now broke into a dead run although not having the slightest clue were I was going, “there he is!” I suddenly heard a cry and I look to see a giant bird dressed in a lab coat pointing with his long wing-arm at me as dozens of eyes turned toward me, and they started for me. I let out a cry as I ran blind avoid giant paws that all were making scoops at me, and without thinking I dive into one of the rooms, finding it to be the giant counterpart to the hospital room I had woken up in. I could hear the sound of the giant creatures getting close, and in a rash decision, I rushed over to the giant bed, and to my great fortune saw a rope hanging down, I look up and realized that the rope was actually a few stray stings for the material that made up the bed sheets. I quickly climb up onto the bed, and through a small hole in the cover.
I was now in pitch darkness, and I held my breath as I heard the room door open, and the sound of footsteps, “I was sure I saw him enter here,” a voice said, and looking through the small hole that I crawled it from to see two creature, one a lion who was scratching his mare as he looked around the room, the other I recognized as the rabbit from the waiting room. “Well, we better find him,” she said looking around as well, “poor thing, he must be terrify,” she said and I was surprised to hear genuine concern in her voice as they left the doorway.

I breathed a sigh of relief as I stepped back from the hole feeling confused but at the same time a little relaxed, although this was the first time I realized that it was kind of warm in here as I stepped back, but that is when I felt my back hit something that was soft and warm. “Uh oh,” I thought as I suddenly felt the thing I bumped move, and there came a low growling sound as I heard something in the darkness move, and in a heartbeat something grabbed me. I screamed as I felt myself being draw out back into the light, I found that I was now in a grip of a giant claw, and my eyes widen farther as I saw it was bring me in front of a giant face.

I nearly fainted as I saw the face of a dragon looking at me with a groggy look, the dragon’s scales were a slivery color, and I couldn’t help but notice that the dragon’s slim face held a very feminine aspect to it. “Where am I?” the dragon asked in a sweet voice, although at the moment I was too terrific to speak, I couldn’t even make a sound as the dragon became fully awake, and got to sitting position in the bed. She then looked down at me and noticed my expression, “Cain what’s wrong?” she asked, this was all too much for me, and I passed out.
