Guns Are Not Toys

While Alex walks to the kitchen, he enjoys the silence in his house. It is usually like this in his home until his sister comes in complaining about something. Alex looks around in the kitchen and decides he wants a bowl of cereal. He grabs a bowl out of a cabinet then gets the rest of the ingredients. He adds so much milk, the flakes nearly spill all over the place. He slurps of some of the milk to contain the disaster, then starts munching down. "Alex, is this yours? Is it some kind of toy?" Alex's mom walks into the kitchen carrying the gun. "It came in the mail today, I'm not sure what it is for," says Alex. "Looks like a plastic toy to me," says Sara. She fiddles with the gun for a second then sits in down on the counter. She then walks over to the fridge and opens it up. All of a sudden, the gun emits a bright flash. A beam shoots out and strikes Alex's body. When his mom turns around, Alex has...
