In The Blink of An Eye

A few seconds after the beam engulfs Alex, he disappears. Alex shrinks down quickly to a very tiny size before his mom even notices. Alex feels extremely dizzy while this happens and passes out. "ALEX? ALEX? WHERE DID YOU RUN OFF TO?" Alex starts to come to as he hears his name being called out in the distance. He opens his eyes and there is a giant white light high above him. He turns his head and spots some cabinets. "This looks like my kitchen, but everything seems different," he thinks to himself. "ALEX!" Alex turns his head the other way and spots his mom, only now she is a giant! "Holy shit! Everything in the house is huge now, what the hell happened to me!" Alex's mom sits down the glass she was drinking from then starts walking. "Mom! I'm down here! Just look down!" Sara hears absolutely nothing from her son and nearly steps on him. "Mom look out! Don't step on me!" Sara's left foot rises high above Alex but lands way past his body. Alex screams out in terror as the foot soars over him.

The giant woman exits the kitchen and disappears down a hallway. Alex's heart feels like it is going to jump out of his chest. "This can't be real. What am I supposed to do now?" Alex looks around the kitchen and nearly everything towers high above him. Just the kitchen alone is now bigger than his entire house used to be. Alex walks over to table leg and tries to estimate his height. "Crap, I think I am only an inch tall!" Next,
