Janet glances around to make sure no one is watching her, and it appears clear for now. She picks up the package then walks quickly to her room. She goes inside and closes the door behind her. "I wonder what that idiot ordered now...," thinks Janet. She grabs a knife off the top of her dresser and uses it to open the package. Janet doesn't always go through her brother's stuff. Only sometimes, when she is in the mood. She pulls a layer of paper out and discovers a funny looking toy gun on the bottom. "What the hell is this thing, some kind of fancy water gun?" She carefully picks up the gun and looks it over.
There is some strange writing on it and a few buttons here and there. The gun is pretty light and does have a futuristic look to it. Janet thinks it is a toy and aims at objects in her room. She aims at one of her tennis shoes on the floor and for the fun of it, squeezes the trigger. Janet is shocked as a beam of light comes out of the end and strikes her shoe. To her surprise, the tennis shoe starts to grow. "What the hell...." It grows for about five seconds and nearly doubles in size.
Janet walks up to it and picks it up to make sure this is not some kind of trick. Her shoe is definatly larger and all the material seems to be intact. "That would be freaky if my feet really were this big, I wonder if I can make it small again," thinks Janet. She decides to pick a button on the gun, the one closest to the trigger, and press. Janet sets her shoe down and fires at it again. The beam hits her shoe and it does start to shrink. "This thing is cool, a gun that can change the size of things. Where in the hell did Alex order this from and what weird stuff is he into....I wonder if it works on people," thinks Janet. Next,
