Chapter #4

Off To Jessica's House

Janet calls up her friend Jessica and asks if she can come over. He friend says that is fine, so Janet puts the gun into her backpack and starts walking. Jessica's house is only a ten minute walk away. Jessica's older sister Katie, is dating Janet's brother Alex. Janet and Jessica can't stand Katie because she is a really snobby.

Janet reaches the house and is let inside by her friend. "Aren't you excited about the summer? I can't wait to sit around and do nothing," says Jessica. "Yeah, but you do that every day already," teases Janet. Jessica shoves her friend playfully, then leads Janet into her bedroom. The girls sit and listen to music for a while, then Janet remembers the gun in her backpack. "Jessica, you won't believe what I found today....It's some kind of strange gun that can make things bigger or smaller," says Janet. "What are you talking about? Are you taking drugs Janet," laughs Jessica.

Janet pulls out the gun and fires at a small lamp siting on a table. The beam hits the lamp and reduces it to half it's size. Jessica is speechless and can't believe what she just saw. "See, told you so," says Janet. Janet changes the setting and returns the lamp to it's normal size. "I haven't tried it on a person yet, so I don't know how it affects people," says Janet. Janet then shoots at a tennis shoe on the floor and it doubles in size. Jessica bends down and picks it up. "Wow, that this is cool...it would suck though if my feet where this big," laughs Jessica as she holds up the large shoe. "I do want to test this on someone, to see if it really works on people," says Janet. Next,
