Chapter #6A princess and her....plumber? by: SonicV With one final spin dash to the chest, the evil Tabuu was finally defeated. As he cried in agony, his power vanished from sight. Those black holes created to swallow up the different worlds vanished and the homes of our heroes were returned, unharmed.
The collective heroes all stared off into the sunset, finally able to relax as their efforts had once again saved their worlds.
One of these heroes was someone who usually took the role as damsel in distress. Princess Peach had proven throughout this quest that she could hold her own in a fight. She had smacked, slapped, and pounded her enemies into next week. She also discovered some rather interesting fighting moves along the way. Who knew her rump had such ass kicking power?
Once the moment had passed, the heroes congratulated each other on the victory and began to return to the Super Smash World where they fought and were staying at. As everyone left through the portal, Peach saw Link and Zelda talking before they traveled back to the world where the battles were taking place.
"Oh Link, are you sure you're alright? That was pretty intense." Zelda asked her regular savior.
"I'm fine Zelda, really." Link batted away her worried hand away. However, he soon held her hand in his.
"My wounds aren't important right now, the important thing is that you're safe, and we're together again." he smiled.
"Oh Link." Zelda smiled warmly. Like a true hero, even if his damsel could fight to, Link was always there to make sure she stayed safe no matter what. Their lips met, and the glow of the sun seemed to shine only on them.
"Wow, a princess and her prince." Peach smiled as she watched the touching display. It was beautiful enough to see true love, but this moment just got her so much, because honestly, it was still a foreign concept for her. After all, when it came to being rescued, she wasn't exactly saved by prince charming.
"Princess." she cringed when she heard his voice. Before turning though, she slapped on her classic, but now fake smile.
"Yes Mario." she responded.
"Come on'a Peach, let's a'go." Mario pointed to Luigi, Yoshi, and even Bowser who were ready to get back to their own adventures. Peach then joined them, though she quickly covered her tracks to make sure no one noticed her odd behavior.
"After you Mario, oh and you were great out there." she leaned down and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed and chuckeled incoherently before joining the others.
"Blech!" just as soon as he did though, Peach gagged. It did not matter how many times someone saves you, Princess Peach was not about to let herself fall for a short, fifty year old plumber from Brooklyn.
"You okay Peach?" she ceased her retching though when she heard her name mentioned. She looked and saw that is was Samus talking to her.
"Oh yes. I just had something, I mean I...so what's up?" Peach blushed. Fortunately, Samus didn't seem to notice the reasonw why she gagged.
"Nothing, I just wanted to tell you I was very impressed by your performance today." Samus said after removing her helmet.
"Thanks." Peach said.
Samus continued "No I mean it. For somebody who gets kidnapped constantly, day after day, year after year-".
"Ahem." Peach stopped her.
"Uhh, you did great." Samus blushed.
"So, how long are we going to keep talkin before you admit you gagged over Mario's kiss?" Samus asked. Peach lightly gasped, but she stopped trying to hide it.
"Peach, if you don't like the guy, just tell him." Samus advised.
"I can't, it would crush him. Besides, the princess does not breakup with her savior....even if he is a plumber from Brooklyn." Peach stated.
"Okay, his feelings and tradition aside, what about you? You've been labeled as his girl since day one, but no matter how many times he saves you nothing will change. You're not in love with him Peach, and you shouldn't keep leading him on like this anyway." Samus told her.
"I know!...I know..." Peach stopped talking. Her good friends Zelda and Samus were so much better off than she was. Both of them had what Peach wanted and wated to be. Zelda of course had Link, someone who was charming, witty, courageous, just the kind of hero a princess wants in her life. Samus meanwhile was right where Peach wanted to be, on the market. Not only was she single, but in her zero suit, with a wiggle of her hips, any man from any solar system would fight to be with her.
"I'm sorry. I layed it on kind of heavy there." Samus apologized. Hopefully her friend would deal with this problem without having to sit through another rant.
"Hey listen, I have something for you." she reached into one of the compartments in her suit before pulling out something rather shiny. Peach stared at the sparkling object. What ever it was, it was yellow, it was glowing litely, and was in the shape of a stubby triangle.
"What is it?" Peach asked, not taking her eyes off it for a moment.
"I'm not sure, I found it while I was on my way to the tournament, just on the rim of the galaxy. I checked it out and there's no radiation or anything you should be worried about." Samus handed it to her friend.
"Wow. Thank you Samus." Peach smiled. As her friend left, Peach took off the broach on her dress and tossed it. Each of her dresses came with one so she had plenty. She gladly replaced it with her gift.
It looked rather lovely on her, though when Peach put it on, she could have sworn she felt a slight tingle. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
