As Peach examined Samus’s gift, a blue blur rushed past her at super sonic speed. Her pink dress was lifted up by the intense wind speed of the moving object. Gasping in surprise, peach quickly pushed her dress back down and turned her blushing face to where the blur had stopped. Standing before the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom was a blue hedgehog in only a pair of red sneakers and matching white gloves. Grinning cockily, the strange creature came over to peach at a much slower pace and shot his open hand out.
“My bad, names Sonic and who might you be?”
Unruffled by Sonic’s odd appearance, Peach reached out to shake his hand. After ruling over a kingdom of mushroom people while at war with a race of giant turtles, there was little that could faze the regal princess. “It’s very nice to meet you Mr. Sonic, my name is Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom.”
They shook hands, Sonic’s larger gloved hands covering the delicate gloved hand of the princess. Peach was about a foot taller then Sonic, forcing her to bend over to shake his hand. She smiled politely at him, enjoying this opportunity to meet new people. Since becoming a part of the Smash Bros tournament, she had met so many interesting characters. From the adorable pokemon to her newfound friends Zelda and Samus, everyday it seemed like she was making new connections with strange, but friendly people.
“Nice to metcha Peachy. I just joined this tournament a few days ago when that Taboo guy tried to take over. Haven’t had a chance to officially fight someone yet, but I’m dying to see how my moves compare to you other guys,” Sonic grinned impishly as he thought about all the crazy guys he’d seen already. There were so many different challengers he could take on and he wanted all of them. After years of fighting life and death battles, fighting for fun sounded like heaven to the battle tested hedgehog.
“I’m sure Mr. Sonic that it will meet all of your expectations and more,” Peach giggled as she tried to imagine Sonic fighting some of the other combatants. It was obvious that he was fast, but would that speed help him against someone strong like Donkey Kong or quick like Meta Knight. Peach silently reminded herself to watch Sonic’s first fight to see how he stacked up against the everyone else.
“I’ll bet. From what I hear, the fights going on are out of this world. Robots against gorillas, plumbers against pokemon, knights against whatever the heck that pink guy is. Talk about your free-for-alls.” Sonic sighed as he looked at the swirling vortex that would take them back to the Smash world were the tournament was taking place. Everyone had left already, wanting to rest after his or her big fight against Taboo. The only ones left were Sonic and Peach. A shiver ran down Peach’s spine when she thought about being all alone in this empty universe with just Sonic.
“Um, we better head back, I have some people back home that might be worried about me,” Peach quickly said, trying to avoid thinking about how comfortable she felt alone with Sonic. Being a princess, Peach rarely spent time not surrounded by people, yet often felt alone in full room. She always put her duty as a princess above everything else, but right now, standing alone with just Sonic, she was able to forget her duty if only for a second.
“Yah, we better go. If I don’t tell my girl Amy that I’m not dead she’s going to make me dead with that mallet of hers,” Sonic said that laughed nervously. He was playing it down, but he really was in trouble if he didn’t call Amy soon. He loved the girl, but if she didn’t hear from him once everyday, she could be downright demonic. The one time he had run off to chase Robotnik around the world and didn’t call Amy all week resulted in him getting a concussion via a big ass hammer. Amy was loving, but very, very scary.
“Your girl?” Peach muttered, finding her throat suddenly going dry.
“Yep, my girl, my little lovebird, my one and only, the other half of my heart, my soul mate, my girlfriend, my Amy Rose,” Sonic sighed, getting a dreamy look on his face when he thought of his tough, yet tender Rose. He regained his composure and flashed Peach another cocky grin. “I’ll introduce you to her sometime.”
Peach returned the smile with a weak one of her own. Suddenly she felt very bad about feeling so good about being alone with Sonic. “I’d love to meet her sometime Mr. Sonic.”
“Great,” Sonic exclaimed and then turned to leave, but before he dashed away, he looked behind his back at Peach and winked at her. “By the way, nice panties.”
“Huh?” Peach stuttered just as Sonic raced through the portal and back into the Smash world. Standing dumbfounded, Peach turned a bright shade of red when she realized that Sonic had seen her panties when he dashed by her. Lowering her head in embarrassment, Peach shuffled through the portal, feeling very small right now. It didn’t bother her that Sonic had glimpsed her unmentionables, but rather that it nailed into her head that he was the first to ever see her panties. She’d never so much as kissed anyone other then Mario and she certainly wouldn’t let that Italian meatball she her in anything, but a full body gown. There was nobody for her, not a boyfriend or a close friend and it was her own fault for being too timid. She clutched the stubby triangle Samus had given her, wishing she could have the strength to be more confident like Sonic.
As Peach vacated the allegedly empty universe, someone watched from far, far away, smiling as they ran their hands over their bellies.
“Soon, very soon.”
