a daily journal

Yesterday, I got some unsettling news.

I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day.

I also found out that we lost a job contract.

The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money.

I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone.

I woke up ill today.

My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight.

There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England.

Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured.

I hope that you also had a happy Groundhog day yesterday when Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, and predicted the good news that we are only going to have another six weeks of Winter ahead of us now. This little celebration is held in your country of Canada, Germany, and here in the United States. They say originally that a badger was used for this purpose in Germany. However we adopted the friendlier ground hog for this hoopla. I guess people were getting tired of getting bit. Your Buddy Bubblegum Jones

Two Days Rest

Finally, I got two whole days to myself.

No appointments, no nothing.

I can just relax and enjoy the next two days.

Sad news from the music world. The lead vocalist of the Cranberries has passed away at 46.

I was planning on going to church this morning, but I woke up abruptly at 4 a.m. and had a bit of a hard time going bacallk to sleep.

Sent Home Early

I managed to get 100 adapters wounded up yesterday.

After lunch, the snow was coming down hard so we were sent home early.

My boyfriend arranged a ride for me.

I'm really blessed to have a boyfriend like him.

When I got home, I had a nap.

Today, I was put on year sort.

Years ago, I didn't really like the job, but today I really enjoyed it.

I did 87 adapters and cords today at work.

I then went on another job and did 70 swag bags.

A Fun Day With The Boyfriend

Earlier today, I went on a date with my boyfriend.

We went to Harvey's for lunch and then to Walmart.

I did some grocery shopping and bought wireless headphones.

I tried them out.

the headphones work perfectly with my tablet.

Happy Camper

Last night, I was one happy camper.

Team Canada won the gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Tournament.

Today, I have lots of sports to watch to keep me occupied.

NFL playoffs start today and there's also hockey to watch.
