Soul Mate

In my mind's eye I have seen you,
Making your way all alone,
Praying the person will come,
To share a life all together its own.

As I wonder Where can I find you?,
The one that I truly can trust,
I sense kindred spirits between us,
Knowing that life with each other's a must.

Wishing to gaze sparkling depths of your eyes,
They'll be my windows to the spirit within,
With both full of life and adventure,
Wanting the rest of our lives to begin.

Together, we can parade through the world,
For every other person to see,
Our endless love, and the sweet inspiration,
That the gift of a soul mate can be.

So come to me please my companion,
And find your true home in my heart,
Forever I will hold and adore you,
With death forcing only our bodies to part.

For life will attain its inevitable end,
And our spirits will become heavenly bound,
But hand in hand we shall pass in the knowing,
That our lover and soul mate's been found.
