Grokster Suess style story about Saved by the Bell |
In the town of Bayside, where the palm trees did sway, Lived a crew full of spunk in a school bright as day. There was Zack, oh so slick, with his hair like a crown, He’d scheme and he’d scamper all over the town! With his phone big as bricks, he’d concoct a wild plan, To skip Mr. Belding’s stern principal ban. “I’ll swap out the test!” Zack declared with a grin, But his pals shook their heads—trouble brewed once again. There was Slater, all muscle, with curls and a vest, He’d wrestle with problems and puff out his chest. “I’ll tackle that quiz, I’m as strong as a bear!” But books made him dizzy—he’d rather lift chairs. Sweet Kelly Kapowski, with her smile like the sun, She cheered for the Tigers, made everyone run. “I’ll study, I’ll shine, I’ll be top of the class!” But Zack’s goofy winks slowed her down, alas. Then Lisa, so stylish, with flair and with sass, Her outfits outsparkled the whole Bayside mass. “My fashion’s my focus, my shoes are divine!” Yet she’d help out her friends when they fell out of line. Screech, oh poor Screech, with his socks to his knees, He’d bumble and stumble, make robots with ease. “My gizmos will save us!” he’d squeak and he’d shout, But his gadgets went BOOM—they’d just fizzle right out. And Jessie, so brainy, with her books piled high, She’d lecture on justice, her voice to the sky. “We must save the planet, the future, the trees!” But her nerves shook like jelly when tests came with ease. One day at The Max, where they sipped milkshake fizz, Zack hatched a new plot that went something like this: “Let’s throw a big dance, sneak it past Belding’s glare, We’ll party till midnight—no rules anywhere!” The gang clapped and cheered, “What a glorious scheme!” They hung streamers and sparkles to live out their dream. But Belding, that principal, wise as a fox, He sniffed out their plan like a cat hunts a box. “Who’s throwing this shindig?” he roared through the hall. The gang froze in panic—oh, they’d take the fall! But Screech, with a beep and a whir from his bot, Sent lights flashing wild, and the plan wasn’t shot. Kelly twirled on the floor, Lisa spun in her gown, Slater flexed for the crowd, Jessie calmed Belding down. Zack grabbed the mic, gave a wink and a call, “Dear Bayside, let’s dance—this is fun for us all!” And Belding, that grump, cracked a smile, just a bit, He joined in the boogie—yes, he threw a small fit! The Bayside Whiz-Wham, it was joyful and grand, With friendship and laughter, the best in the land. So if ever you’re scheming like Zack and his crew, Remember your pals—they’ll stick right by you. In Bayside or elsewhere, with heart and with cheer, You’ll find your own dance, and your dreams will be near! |
