A poem of apology, unspoken love, and the quiet ache of never being fully together.
Apologies—
and a thousand more words,
but don't you want to hear me,
just once?

Then I remember—
I should.
Now, with nothing left
but one truth to do:
to say I'm sorry.

And pray—
just pray—
to see
you and me
together again.

Though we never parted,
we were never truly together.
What can I say?
How do I describe
what has always been
between us?

For me, just being—
and knowing there is you—
is everything.
It's all.
And it's enough
to live forever.
