This is my first time translating poetry and I can’t understand what happened.
My love is true, yet fleeting,
Returned, but self-defeating.
Immoral and unchained,
Forgotten, yet regained.

Divided by despair,
Like thirst beyond repair.
Like hatred, raw and bare—
My perfect love laid bare.
