Children cry and the land weeps with the tears of those in pain. Will they cry in vain?
Circle round in adoration

And the children cry

         Cry out O Zion.

And the land weeps with the tears of those in pain,
who grieve for the ointment of atonement,
the sutures of unity.
Cry they in vain?

         Cry out to your Lord.

And the children look to their mother's breast,
seek out their father's arms,
pray for someone to hold them close to heart,
to assuage their pain.

         Cry out O Zion.

And those abandoned to the deserts of dismay
will seek the flood of hope.
And those shunned by what others believe they have done
will beg for truth. All — will cry out today.

         Circle round in adoration.

And like moths attracted to glory and light,
they'll whirl and twirl.
And their troubles will be burnt to ashes,
their doubts blown away.

         Circle round your Lord.

And the land will weep with joy
as its children join hands in play.

         Circle round in adoration.
         Circle round your Lord.
