From Darkness Comes Light

In caverns deep, where shadows rule,
A stillness hums through stone and tool.
Thick air blooms midnight’s reign,
Echoes threading ancient strain.

No star dares breach this boundless tide,
No whisper frees what dark confides.
Night is king, its scepter chill,
A tale unyielding, etched in still.

Yet deep below, a tremor stirs,
A pulse that cracks what silence spurs.
Through fissures fine, a glow takes root,
Fire’s seed in earth’s mute soot.

It creeps, it climbs—a fragile vein,
Hope kindled where fear once reigned.
Walls relent, their hold unspun,
Light dares what dark had shunned.

Hours drag, the struggle creeps,
Gleam wars with shadow’s deeps.
Each ray a soldier, frail yet fierce,
Each shade defiant, pierced to cease.

Night’s tides roar, a fading fray,
Bright storms the dark away.
Amid the clash, a dawn takes flight,
Soft as rain, yet bold with might.

Fields rise where voids once lay,
Gold hazes ash in breaking day.
Sky unfurls a tender hue,
Canvas wet with morning dew.

Birds lift songs, their wings unbound,
Light’s hymn in endless sound.
Streams catch beams, a thousand strong,
Life wakes from dreams held long.

Yet dark lingers, etched in stone,
Traces where the lost have grown.
A memory of night’s old claim,
A whisper bearing shadow’s name.

For light and dark, twin threads entwined,
Spin the world’s vast, woven mind.
From chaos forged, through strife’s ignite,
Endures the truth: from darkness, comes light.
