What is there to discover in our construction of life?
For herein the puzzle box lies
A world both familiar and unknown.
The cover face paints the scene,
which in actuality is just a glean.

Mind you, we’ve been to Central Park,
just not yet in the winter.
And how about Quito, Ecuador.
The puzzle first established its lore.

For me, the box is a destiny maker
Manifestation in so many ways sacred
So don’t thud and thump at a lack of progress
Within months of purchase my neck perched on a headrest

Though knowing the power of adventure within,
I sit and peruse carefully those boxes to bring in.
Scenes of beauty for us, please no horror
nor any twisted depictions of sorrow.

Perhaps what I need is a Jesus piece - -
someone subtle, sublime, and yet all over the space.
Yes as I opened that set what would I see
The man for whom I will get on my knees.

The modern puzzle of today’s folk,
may be found on the internet, full of junk
Connecting dots and fake news galore,
best to shut it down, find something more.

Paper tastes as paper does
Childhood memories resurface
Can innocence be regained?
It ends with the spirit, starts with the brain.
