Sometimes we don't look at the right place for hope. |
In a tiny little cage there lived a blue fluffy budgie her name was Buga just to her right in another cage comparatively bigger was a parrot Dula. Buga was a thinker always contemplating about her life out in the sky with freedom and peace, in this train of thought she always skipped her seed as eating was of no use to her. Just opposite was Dula who was also in a cage but he used to eat all of his seeds and then sings out with hope on top of his lungs to bring his little friend some Joy. But for Buga life had no hope or Joy as the sky was out of reach and her wing of no use. Everyday in the morning Dula used to sing and dance "Rise and shine all my mates, here comes a day where new Joy awaits" this song was Buga's morning alarm which woke her up yet again in a monotonous day. One dark & cold night Dula fell ill, his throat was sore and wings were numb, he spent the whole night in pain and anxiety, with much difficulty the night ended and came the morning. When Buga woke up it was almost afternoon, she thought in confusion that where was that dumb song, but as she looked at her right there was an empty cage. |
