Decided to go to the Superbowl live
One of his personal bucket list desires
That and attending the finals of the world series
the finals of the World Cup
and the finals of the NBA.

He went to the game
With his lifelong friends
And had a great tailgate party
Eating extra spicy buffalo wings
and drinking the newly
re-launched Anchor Steam Beer
Before the game began.

They watched the game
Both in their seats
And on their phones
So they could
see the best commercial
of the game

they enjoyed
the half time show
featuring the legendary

Tower of Power

They had a friendly wager
with some Kansa City fans

Over who would win the game
The Kansas City Chiefs
Or the SF 49s.

Unfortunately for Sam and his gang
The 49s lost the game
And they lost their bet.

Oh well, Sam said
It was one of the best days
Of my life
And worth the 70-year wait.
