A Book... Non- Fiction With A Poem To Begin
SHE SHED TEARS
A Non- Fiction Book

She Shed Tears

I cannot count, I cannot measure
With all the words that I treasure
I can only feel the tears I shed
The pain in. my heart that bleed.

Every line that this story being told
With this gift of writing GOD bestowed
Each paragraph that my pen strokes
All that I am it evokes.

Chapter 1

A barrio girl with a long, straight jet hair and wears the most beautiful smile, with a pleading aura of friendliness,
confidence, with and charm.

At age 19 going 20, never been kissed, never been touched, never been loved, tall and slender, this barrio girl works her first office job as a Front Office Staff in the city. It was not a work or a job she was seeking for when she went to the city with her cousin, the accountant of the hotel, telling her :
"Want to see a very beautiful place, with swimming pool, with recreational facilities like bowling alleys, pelota and tennis courts with the most lovely gardens which are all printed in this brochure. COME WITH ME "

"You can stay overnight at our place. There is an extra bed in my room that no one is using. You may go home the following day. My younger sister Marian will be sending you off at the bus terminal so you will never get lost in the city."

She asked permission from her Papa and Mama with the assurance of her cousin , telling them :
" I just want to show her the beautiful place that I work, then, she will be home the following day. I will shoulder
all the expenses including her pocket money as my treat. " Her parents agreed.

They took a tricycle to town at five in the morning and took the bus to the city at five- thirty in the morning, arriving in the city at 8:30 in the morning .

Her cousin's reporting on duty time starts at 8 :00 A.M. She told her :
" My employer will understand why I will be reporting late as they knew that I went home to the province. "

They took a quick breakfast of Hot Pan de Sal, scrambled eggs and a Mug of steaming hot Milo Choco drink, then brushed their teeth after meals, combed their hair and took a taxi to the hotel where her cousin worked. They did not take a bath and did not change their clothes. She was wearing a black color mini skirt, a white sleeveless blouse, a sandal with a half- heel. She made herself fresh by putting Johnson's baby powder in her armpits, face and neck. Then splash a Baby Cologne in her hair, elbows, nape, below the ears
and wrists then placed them back in her big cloth shoulder bag where inside : a hairbrush, a wallet, a very small flashlight, a set of bra and panty inside a small plastic bag and a small kit with a few tablets for fever, diarrhea and three pieces band- aid .

There's also a small tetra pack of mango juice, two small packets of crackers, preparing always, following a Girl Scout Motto when she was in grade school " Always Be Prepared !"
The paper bag that has a pair of clothes and a pair of bikini panties were left in the room of her cousin.
