~ I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

The above is from Psalm 23. The following is from John 16:33.

"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Where do we find comfort and peace in the midst of the difficulties we find in this life?

Isaiah declared to God: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee." In my own life this has proved to be true.

In the midst of any and all difficulties, I find peace and comfort as I hide myself in Him. His rod and staff comfort me as I rest in His Presence...
