Abstract poem about beating the freeze.
It was standing on the corner.

Lost in snow and muck

A single slice of summer

Golden light on the block

A few square feet

In the back of a forgotten yard

Sunshine gleaming brightly

From the heavens up above.

No snow nor ice

Just green lush grass grown

No cold bitter winds blowing

Just flowers dancing in wind and sun

I've forgotten my way there.

Lost among the twist and turns

But in my mind I return where

The sunshine always warms.
