Brief description of a rough saturday morning. I was young once.
Waking up after a short night but long party alone in the kitchen. Rubbing my eyes, swinging what I think is my legs over the side of the bed. Eww cold floor on bare feet. I move my feet around and find my house shoes. Warm, now to attempt to stand. Saturdays like these are tough. Standing up, feeling the chill on my bare legs and bare arms, my head still swimming a bit from, ah oh, I don’t remember.
Moving slowly I walk into the kitchen for a cup of coffee, hoping the timer on the machine worked. Stepping over the banana and tomato fighting on the floor I pull the coffee pot out and pour myself a cup of coffee and turning to see what it was I stepped over.
As I set down, my eyes glued to the action on the middle of the kitchen floor, I sipped my hot coffee slowly. The banana was up and throwing the tomato around. The tomato tried an elbow drop but that leaf was way to loose.
Shaking my head I couldn’t figure out why I was drinking coffee and watching food fight in my kitchen floor. I had to still be asleep, that’s what it is! I’m still asleep.
Turning my head back to watch the fight before me I unconsciously reached for the cold bottle of beer and took a fast sip. Hey, it can’t get any more strange. I could hear them grunting, you are a fruit!
I don't get it, reaching for what was left of the home made pizza, taking a big bite with my eyes still on the fight in my kitchen floor, looks like the banana is going to win. Chewing the pizza, hmm mushrooms. Good.
