Reclaiming My Creativity

I can't tell you how long it's been
Since I wrote on paper with pen;
Since now I use a computer
It's been a lot longer than then.

My life has survived many woes;
More than I count on hand and toes.
But surprisingly I made it;
I weathered the many blows.

So, now comes my time to rethink
That I've lost my creative streak.
In fact when I started to write
The sweet verse in my heart won out.

The great lesson to learn is this,
Don't squander a gift God given.
Write not for you but for others
Your magic is not forgotten.

Reclaim your creativity
Unleash all the words within you
You'll find that you never lost it
It's there for you to unleash it.
