The Lights of Bethlehem




. . . lest we forget hence the light came to be. Darkness covered the earth and YHWH looked upon his creation, thought a second, and created light. He installed upon it, its appointed times, its longevity to be a day past the end of eternity. This is my creation, no man can appoint another time for its lifetime. This light shall make its appointed rounds, needing neither a stop at the local filling station to refuel, nor any false interpretation of its origin. It is mine, but I give its assistance to the eyes of mankind.


The baby thinks while he is completing the journey; he is not an ordinary baby, he is a child of God. The only begotten child of God. The first creation of God . . I watched as my father hung all the lesser lights, and strung them across the sky. Now here I am, the light of the world. I wonder what it will feel like to die, but I give my life willingly, in order that my Father's purpose for mankind shall be fulfilled. I see the lights of Bethlehem below me, and I rush to meet them . . .
