DAP Profile: "Stalker"

Subject: Organism 12, callsign "Stalker"

Brief Description: Organism 12 is a highly aggressive creature living in the jungles of Southeast Asia in places such as Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Judging by reports, there are likely at least a dozen Stalkers present in the jungles of Southeast Asia.

Biology: Organism 12 is a quadruped predator that uses thick foliage and trees to hunt its prey. It is noted to be anywhere from four to five feet tall and up to seven feet long. It is noted to have large, jagged claws which it uses to navigate through the thick jungle and to tear its prey apart. Despite its size, this creature maintains an otherworldly stealth. Some eyewitnesses reported that the creature had long, sharp quills running along its back, though this cannot be confirmed. There have been zero recorded attacks or encounters with Stalkers during daylight, as they hunt exclusively in the dark.

The threat that Organism 12 poses to humanity is minimal, as it makes its home far from human civilization. Despite this, the Stalker is a serious threat to any civilians or personnel in the area.

Standard Operating Procedure: Any DAP personnel sent to either capture or eliminate a Stalker should approach with extreme caution. These creatures display a heightened intelligence and will attempt to split up large groups to begin picking off single individuals one by one. Night vision is highly recommended. Personnel should be in groups of no less than five and should not separate from each other under any circumstance. Personnel should be prepared for close-quarters combat with the creature, as it is unlikely to be spotted before it attacks. It is recommended that all DAP personnel on the assignment be equipped with combat knives.
