A college roommate's practical joke still isn't funny after all these years.
Lemonade

During my junior year in college, I had a roommate who enjoyed practical jokes and bizarre humor. He would often make me the target of his humor. The worst one was providing me with a big glass of lemonade while I was preparing.

While dressing, he came into my room carrying two big glasses of lemonade and offered me one. Being distracted, I took the offered glass and drank it. At this time, I was a chugger and quickly drank the complete glass. He offered me another, so I drank it.

When I arrived, my girlfriend met me at the door and looked absolutely stunning. I didn't think of it then, but I should have been nervous but surprisingly relaxed. We began to talk about classes, family, and our plans for the evening. All was going smoothly until my roommates' surprise began to take effect.

As we talked, I began to feel strange. My thoughts began to get scattered, my speech became slurred, and my inhibitions were right out the door. I knew I was drunk. I apologetically told my girlfriend I needed to go home. I could not drive, so I started walking home at 8:00 p.m.

At 9:00 p.m., my roommate received a call from my girlfriend, wanting to know what happened. He advised her that he added half of each glass with vodka to the lemonade. She asked me to talk with her. He then informed her I was not there: I never returned.

"Call the police! He left an hour ago, and the walk should have been fifteen minutes."

I walked home and fell asleep in the lounge of my dorm.

From that day forward, two things changed: I stopped drinking alcohol and never trusted my roommate again.

Prompt: "Call the police."
