How far can we as a civilization advance shackled to the whims of our biological past.
Shed the shackles of a biological legacy

It occurred to me that growth beyond our current human condition would only be possible when we recognize fully all the shadows of that condition we walk with now and thereby see paths around, where we might want to differ from where the biological legacy has brought us.

Question: Why is the solution to the prisoners dilemma so difficult for many. In part because human nature compounded by life experience hard to put down and obscure reality of the best solution.

While many may outright reject this idea as unappealing or even worst insulting, I hold that any true advancement of our human nature and our safety and cultural security will in the future rest more on ones ability to observe ourselves in full truth.

And as a result find ourselves capable of making mature decisions resting primarily on wisdom and willingness to relinquish greed as a factor, especially in the wake of the needs of an expanding community of man at large.

For those who wonder why such a talk. I'm thinking of the future and what that future could be and look like. I believe we all can have a hand in it, but achieving primate legacy freedom will require the conversations at least, be started.
