Kamala’s elementary school
Then King and Berkeley High.

Where they got involved
With local politics
As their parents
were friends as well.

Sam went away
Joined the CIA
Came back and retired
To Berkeley.

Where he opened a bar
Sam’s UFO Bar and Grill
Where the sign proclaimed
“Space Aliens drink for free”

And encountered problems
With the local somewhat
unfriendly local government authorities.

Jake Lee and Sam decide to run
Against each other for Mayor
Vowing to keep it civil
And polite.

And they did
The public was soon bored
With these two old men
Running for mayor.

A young brash young man
Ran a hard left campaign
And another young woman
Ran a hard right campaign.

The election was close
But Sam Adams won
With rumored help

From his Space alien pals.
With the contentious US election season coming to an end on Tuesday (thank goodness!) let's change the tone.
