Not everyone is a fan of dandelions, but I think they're beautiful.
A meadow laden with perfect dandelions
Reflecting the twilight sun
Glowing like early evening stars

Tonight they close their eyes
And rest in the silence of darkness.

Then sunrise creeps across the horizon
Illuminating the soft green carpet as
Yellow blossoms lift their heads again
Catching whispered secrets
Tossed about in the gentle breeze

Secrets of scattering their tiny seeds
Anticipating the annual beauty and renewal

Yielding another field of perfect dandelions.
