My soul cries, "Why?" Walking in circles Bound by honor Bound by silence Walking in circles Bound by hurt Bound by loss Walking in circles Videography: Film at night. A torch is lit, the torch casting its light onto the face of a man (A King) in a mask briefly as he hoist the torch out in front of him casting his gaze to the ground, never looking up. Walking along a path within a forest with no destination in sight. Each pause the scene depicted repeats. At the conclusion of the video, at the crack of dawn, the cameras focus changes to a flock of vultures circling high above. The scene then switches to the view of the vultures as if your looking through a vultures eyes down onto the forest below. The path is an infinity symbol and the pauses are the repeating fork in the path. Meaning: Although we have the light of knowledge, we tend repeat our past decisions which shows a lack of wisdom. The vultures represent the fate of humanity if we continue down this path of conduct. |
