The result of an idiot (me) misreading a prompt.
"You can't have too much money."
The richest man in the world said.
"A joke's a joke, but that's not funny."
(I think greed had gone to his head.)

"You cannot possibly spend it."
He offered no sort of reply
"I wouldn't even lend it."
He snapped, and his tone was dry.

"Don't you know that people are starving
for want of a penny or two?
"
"You know, I wouldn't give them a farthing.
My money needs to accrue
."

"Even a little would make a big difference.
To someone with nothing at all.
"
"I can scarcely contain my indifference,
for me they can go to the wall
."

"You can't have too much money."
The richest man in the world said.
"A joke's a joke, but that's not funny."
(I think greed had gone to his head.)
