Watching the impeachment hearings, I decided to write a poem of encouragement.

Bear in mind, my wishful hope is a way for us to be good and kind. It's hard not to be stressed in a world of struggles; I would rather see that you are blessed.

Take all hostility to a halt, too much is out there, it's not our fault. The uncertainty of what this world would be like, instead of getting into fights, we should stick together and do what's right.

Don't obsess with what is wrong, be strong enough to get along. Let's get in gear, don't live in fear.

We need to feel protected, not rejected. If we put our minds together, we could brave all kinds of weather.

No matter how hard it gets, getting rid of all the clatter, helps us to know that we matter.

Make us true to our word and let us know when we've been heard. Don't hide your tears, it's okay to weep. Try not to be stronger than you are, don't stuff it inside any longer. You're a good person who feels emotions, and you want to be the one who heals.

Making our dreams real is my wishful hope; this of course would be ideal. If you can see what I see now, you'd be where you'd love to be. Praying for a better world, kneeling down on your knees, can be done, if we stick together and get along.
