I worked as an Economist for much of my working life. In the 1960s and early 1970s I worked in Malawi in Central Africa - a country I love deeply. I met my wife there. On our return from Africa in 1975 I worked mainly in the Northern Ireland Civil Service. I have been involved in Creative Writing for over 7 years and am in two helpful Creative Writing Groups. Much of my writing is descriptive of areas around Strangford Lough - one of the most significant loughs in the British Isles. Occasionally I write rather tongue-in-cheek stories from my Springer Spaniel's perspective. She has her own views about humans! I welcome all reviews.
