I have had an interest in writing for years but never really did anything to show for it until June of 2007, when I had a children's book published, The Captivating Charm of a Name. I have worked for the past 25 years as a social worker in North Carolina. I am a graduate from Illinois State University. I am working on another children's story and I like to write short stories and poetry. Looking forward to meeting and learning from others. I still view myself as a beginner in writing.
