Have been a start and stop journal writer and writing group member over the years. Lots of technical writing, editing, and proofreading. Believe that the current web-induced, bullet point, nutshell it culture creates poor readers, producton based writing and is so poor a product it is painful to see it being read. I prefer Natural History and literary science writing as nothing excites me more than learning, understanding, and thinking about the great world of nature slowly slipping from our grasp.
