Legodile 'Dredd X' Seganabeng is a recorded poet, published writer, spoken word performer, and art teacher in Maun, Botswana. His interest in writing began during his high school years. He holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Fine Art from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. As a freelance writer, Dredd X has published several articles in local and international newspapers and magazines. He is founder of the Maun based Poetavango Spoken Word Poetry movement. In 2010, Seganabeng won the Bessie Head Literature Awards in the short story Category. The book, The Moon Has Eyes and Other Stories was published in 2011.
