Writing is part of who I am but it took me a long time to realize this. I went back to school in my fifties and then went on to graduate studies. At 55, I received an M.F.A. in writing from a prestigious Ivy League school. But now what? I have written a memoir and I am working on a detective novel. The memoir is multi-genre, so it has prose and poetry. I will probably self-publish. I have published several poems through contests.
