I am a fifty-year-old man with multiple sclerosis, qualifications that, I hope, will serve me well in my new venture. I was once a songwriter and performer, but MS and other frustrations put an end to that. I ended up on a bus bound for the place where short stories are made and I'm enjoying it very much, it's starting to feel like I've found my natural home. Listening to music has become part of the writing process and Ivor Cutler, half man half biscuit, John Cooper Clarke and Vivian Stanshall are all bubbling beneath the surface of my work. I would describe my style as dark, kitchen sink comedy with a touch of surreality.
