Born illegitimate to Margaret Ann Caine Matthews McQueen of Jacksonville Beach, FL and John Henry McIntyre of Fayette, MS in Gary, IN on November 23, 1968. Kelsie began to play guitar at eighth years old under the tutelage of Elder Pastor Charlie Thomas who played electrified "Piedmont blues" gospel guitar at The Church of God by Faith in Jacksonville Beach. He also writes and paints.
