I am an artist and writer living in Nova Scotia. I am a post-modern surrealist whose work draws upon popular culture, psychology and mysticism. There is more of my work at jondavidwelland.tumblr.com. I volunteer as a creative writing tudor for people with mental health issues and publish a journal of their work. I also work as an assistant curator at a local art gallery, and in the past I have done public reations and public speaking for the Schizophenia Society.
