I feel lucky to have been born in Georgia. The son of a father from New York and mother from Augusta Georgia, it seems right that I entered this world in Atlanta. I learned to be tolerant of all people. Courtesy, kindness and respect for others came with the territory. I started to learn the fundamentals of photography in my late teens. My first photo trips were around Atlanta, downtown and in Piedmont Park. Excursions around Georgia soon followed, to the mountains on hiking expeditions, to Savannah... and to the coast.
