Desert Dweller - I've lived in both the High and Low Deserts of Calif for the last 30 years. There is something beautiful about the stark landscape. Not many people feel this way but I enjoy it. The heat can be oppressive but that is life, the same way the snow can get you down! After 70 some years, I look at life with a different attitude than I did when I was young. Is the best yet to come? Only time will tell!
