I was born in Arkansas. My father was a career Army Sergeant WW II/Korean War medic. I joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and spent twenty-eight years as a medic. I served in South East Asia (1968-1969) to include the '68 TET Offensive. My twenty years in the AF Reserve led to retiring in 1996 as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). Civilian jobs included Associate Researcher, Operating Room Technician, Data Analyst, and Library Project Manager. I hold two BA degrees from the University of Washington and presently live in Georgetown, Texas.
