I have been writing since I was eight years old. I hope I've gotten better since my first effort, an unfinished short story about a doll collector. What I write nowadays is mostly emails and journal entries, but I've been participating in the yearly National Novel Writing Month challenge since 2007. There exist five very rough drafts of these novels, plus one moderately edited version of my 2010 novel, of which I own a single impressive-looking paperback copy offered free by CreateSpace.com to NaNoWriMo winners every year.
