Arthur Smith, author of a newly released book, Day of Judgement and Ten Other Stories. a Senior Lecturer at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, and editor Sierra Leone PEN, participated in a seminar on contemporary American Literature in the U.S in 2006, the 2007 PEN Congress in Senegal,the inaugural Congress of PAWA in Accra and a Centennial Conference On Richard Wright in Portugal in 2008.
