I am a newbie here but not to the art of writing. I created stories in my mind long before I could wield a pen appropriately. With the demands of life, my focus shifted but my love of writing never did. Then one day, a beloved character woke me from my sleep and begged to be given a home in a book. I tried to ignore her, but she was persistent. So I wrote in a flurry, but she was not satisfied. Who could blame her? Her adventure had just begun and so had mine. Other characters joined her- some patient, others demanding, and still others evil coercing me to their dark side. My goal is to write daily and perhaps silence the voices...
