Of course you are in a position
To request exclusivity
Just as you may request
A kiss
Or time spent away
from prying eyes
Or when a reading week
Occurs
Just as I may ask for
A meeting of minds or
A meeting of friends or
A meeting of hands.
Such requests are more compliments
Than constraints
More happiness than hindrance
Both joy and fear
And you and I
And we.
