Fighting for causes,
we don't know why,
when all we really wanna do,
is break down and cry.

Being fed bullshit,
from people we're s'posed to admire,
you are the smoke,
and I am the fire.

Not understanding,
what other people mean,
But it's so hard, so hard,
to come clean.

So we cling to our skeletons,
in our closet they lie,
never to be forgotten,
til we've forgotten why.

trying to be successful,
so other people can gain,
Denying the stress we have,
it brings us all pain.

When you can't think straight,
feeling lost and dejected,
they'll move on to the next innocent,
then your left rejected.

So remember your values,
have an open mind,
and don't forget this,
almost everything heals with time.
