Feelings at the time of parting
PARTING WORDS—a pantoum poem

No, I’m not angry with you,
It’s only that I am sad.
I wish your promise be true.
I wish I had your love had.

It’s only that I am sad,
But no, I do not repent.
I wish I had your love had,
We had tender moments spent.

But no, I do not repent,
Parting was our destiny.
We had tender moments spent,
Those moments are still with me.

Parting was our destiny,
In next life we shall yet meet.
Those moments are still with me,
We shall those moments repeat.

In next life we shall yet meet,
I wish your promise be true.
We shall those moments repeat,
No, I’m not angry with you.
