She's alone, unblessed, insane, unattained. But she's still okay. |
She awaits silently, on her sanctuary. In her old brick house, Every light is dim, Every soul asleep. Forgot to lock the front door... Still, she's slept for over two days, With her arms laying gently on her chest. Forgot to wash the blood off from the kitchen knife Hidden under her pillow. Still, she breathes silently. She's slowly overcoming old crisis. But, ready to face the new ones... With an inviting smile on her face, She greets unwelcomed guests, Cursing them in her head. ...It wont change The old problems continue to replay. In slow motion, in her head. They hold her tight , harshly whisper in her ear The verses she once sang. But they can't hear her cries, They can't see her laughs. They only see the curses written on the walls. They can feel her lies. They sense her when she's far, They fear her when she's gone. She repeats old lines, those unfunny jokes. And waves her hands in the air Trying to brush away their painful fear. ...But it just won't change. That's why she's alone. Feeling like a dog in a chain. A dog waiting to be fed, Something she's never claimed Never claimed to give, nor receive. But, she acts like she doesn't care. Like it's just another day, waiting to die away. She acts like she can't bleed. Ahh.. How life can be ! While she tries to ignore the piercing stares, She says that she's okay... But the truth was muffled under her breath. They've never seen her eyes. They've never uncovered her body, To see that she's truly flawless. To find her lies still alive, But slowly dying at the same time. They've never read her from head to toe Never seen the secrets she's got, she's not sane! They've failed to bless her soul. And she forgot to save herself. From damnation, From the everlasting punishment. She ignored the god of all creations, And blocked away the praying voice inside her head. But it's okay, After all, it'll end some day. And all the sins will follow her. And all the mystery will still be bound to remain. |
